Penlee House is an art gallery and museum in Penzance, Cornwall. Situated in sub-tropical gardens, the gallery hosts a programme of special exhibitions featuring work by artists of the Newlyn School and the Lamorna Group (1880s-1930s). The museum was founded in 1839 and covers 6,000 years of history in West Cornwall, from Penwith's awe-inspiring archaeological sites to more recent social history. The Orangery Café has a range of hot and cold drinks, light lunches and afternoon teas using local produce.
