Russell Square Park

I passed through Russell Square on my way out to explore the city. I’m a sucker for a nice garden – and this definitely ticks that box. The park’s been around since the 1800s and still has that classic London feel, with proper Georgian townhouses lining the edges. It’s got a bit of charm about it, and a sense of calm that makes it a great spot to pause before heading into the busier parts of the city.

Access from the adjacent street was easy and level. Within the Square's gardens there are hard surfaced paths to get around, plenty of places to sit, and a coffee shop.
