    Scottish Seabird Centre

    About

Enjoy great days out at the seaside with the five star Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick, just 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Control the interactive live cameras to zoom in on the amazing local wildlife in its natural habitat including puffins, gannets and seals on islands such as the Bass Rock, Isle of May and Craigleith. The Bass Rock is the world’s largest colony of Northern gannets and the Isle of May is the biggest puffin colony on the east coast of Britain! There’s different wildlife to see throughout the year and at different stages of the breeding season. The Discovery Centre team will take you through key things to spot during your visit and there’s also a Wildlife Theatre, 3D TV, fish tanks plus a Kids’ Corner and Kids’ Zone. There is a Gift shop for lots of treats and great local produce available in the Seabird Café, with stunning views over the Firth of Forth to the Bass Rock and the North Berwick beaches.
