The Shaftesbury Theatre is the largest independent theatre in the West End. Originally named The Prince's Theatre, it has been presenting a variety of shows, plays and musicals since 1911. Notable productions include FUNNY FACE starring Fred Astaire, the revolutionary musical HAIR, the Who's TOMMY, the multi award winning musical HAIRSPRAY and the world premiere of FROM HERE TO ETERNITY. Currently playing is the musical THE PAJAMA GAME and premiering this autumn is the award winning Broadway musical MEMPHIS starring Beverley Knight and Killian Donnelly.
