With generous support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery was re-opened in July 2017 with larger art galleries, innovative museum displays telling the fascinating story of Lymington and the surrounding coast and forest, an upgraded shop and attractive cafe and terrace. There is also a public archive for visitors to explore the heritage of the area.
