Excellent

I stayed here for a concert and was upgraded to a two-bedroom accessible suite by a lovely helpful receptionist. I had a lovely comfortable stay here in a fantastic location within rolling distance of the Usher Hall. The apartment has loads of space, a great wet-room and everything you'd want in a studio apartment (cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc.). There is also secure underground parking.

Disabled Access In and Around

Good

The apartment itself has great access and space but the lift is quite tight and the heavy entrance doors might be a problem if you are alone; overall though the two bedroom accessible studio is really good.

Parking & Transport

Good

It's a central location so plenty of buses nearby, 15-20 minutes rolling away from Haymarket Station and the tram but a much longer wheel to Waverley Station but plenty of buses nearby. There are quite a few disabled (chargeable) parking places onsite in a secure underground car park. A small lift takes you upstairs from here.

Accessible Toilets

Excellent

The wet room was modern, spacious, clean and had lots of grab rails and two red cords, sink was a great height too.

Staff

Good

All the staff were lovely apart from one woman with a clipboard who hammered on our door an hour before check-out demanding to know whether reception knew that we had requested a late check -out. Didn't mind her mistake at all; very much minded her very officious attitude and lack of apology, she also refused to look at the slip from reception stating our check-out time. It's a shame for the rest of the lovely staff we met who made such an effort to make me feel welcome as she let them down big-time but she wouldn't stop me coming back as the others more than made up for her; the four stars are for them, thank you.
