Overlooking the banks of the River Tay, this extensive garden houses a wide range of indigenous British plants alongside important plant collections from all over the world. Visitors can explore trees, shrubs, water features, a herb garden, and tropical glasshouses, providing an educational and relaxing family-friendly environment.
The venue features dedicated accessible parking bays on site and a bus stop located within 150 metres of the entrance. Step-free access is available to the visitor centre via a permanent, slightly sloped ramp with a level landing at the top, leading to automatic doors. Inside the building, you will find wheelchair accessible paths, a cafe, a gift shop, and dedicated accessible toilets, with assistance dogs wearing appropriate harnesses welcome throughout the grounds.
Opening hours are 10am to 3pm, garden closes at 3.30pm. Main gates close at 3.45pm
