Water Lane Boathouse

The pavement outside the pub is narrow, cobbled and has steep curb drops, but the manual double doors that mark the main entrance of the pub are wide and often propped open in good weather. The tables and benches both inside the pub and on the terrace are tightly packed, making it tricky to move between tables, particularly at peak times. The long benches do not leave flexibility to make wheelchair spaces as needed. The majority of the seating is either upstairs, or down two steep steps, with no lift or ramps available. The toilets are upstairs. The bar is high up, and the volume of the music only adds to the difficulty in communicating with the staff.
