First floor food court Changing Places toilet

There is a large toilet area located next to the first floor food court at Westfield Stratford City. The area was recently refurbished and now includes an additional Changing Places toilet in this area. Despite it being a new addition to the shopping mall, the toilet itself seemed like it wasn’t being maintained well enough. The decoration of the room was nice and felt modern and bright, but the equipment seemed like it wasn’t being taken care of. The height-adjustable sink was already out of order, despite the toilet not having been available for very long, and the ceiling hoist had been left on the floor. It’s possible that because this area is one of the busiest, this toilet is used more frequently. Luckily, there is another Changing Places toilet on the ground floor which is also available if any of the equipment isn’t working in this one.

Changing Places Toilet at Westfield Stratford

This Changing Places Toilet is located on the ground floor of Westfield Stratford (middle floor). It is near the middle of the shopping centre and there is a Changing Places symbol on the overhead signage to show where it’s located. It was a lovely, clean toilet and felt very modern. It was well-equipped and accessed with a RADAR key. It was a nice experience using the toilet, however, an issue with the flush and no sign of any emergency cords or alarms made me concerned about safety and maintenance.
