Access at Edinburgh International Festival
Every August, the Edinburgh International Festival welcomes the world to experience our hand-picked programme of the finest performers in dance, opera, music and theatre. Through their artistry we create space for reflection and reconciliation, debate and celebration, bringing people of different cultures and viewpoints together.
The International Festival is guided by the social model of disability and recognises that some people experience barriers when they engage with our August programme. We strive to remove these barriers and continue to develop a range of ways to achieve this. Some of these accessibility practices are outlined below.

Access Pass
The Access Pass is a free membership scheme for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people. It is designed to improve your booking process with us and means we can tailor an experience suited to your specific access requirements.
