Archerfield Walled Garden

We are Archerfield Walled Garden, a celebration of all things East Lothian. We offer a Garden Cafe serving a delicious menu of quality local and homegrown produce, a Food Market showcasing some of the county’s best producers and a Gift Shop with a strong focus on East Lothian talent. Our microbrewery is home to the award winning Knops Brewing Co who brew our famous Archerfield Craft Ales and our outdoor attractions are ever-popular; a constant reminder of our strong relationship with the land. Our walled garden is an ever-developing asset to the business and a place where we like to provide a link to wildlife, sustainability practises and homegrown produce. Younger visitors will enjoy our Wildlife Area with its bug houses, log pile and willow tunnel, keen kitchen gardeners can visit our tunnel and see how we grow fresh produce on a large scale for the cafe and almost everyone will enjoy the colourful beauty of our Cut Flowers, Rose Garden and Potager. Our outdoor attractions include the extremely popular Fairy Trail, a beautiful, interactive walk winding its way through our woodland. Allow yourself to drift into a magical mood (remembering to whisper so you don’t scare them away). Keep your eyes peeled, and take a wander to see if you can find their exquisite homes hidden in the trees.
