Argyle Place

This is a cafe with very good (modern) food. We ha, as well as coffees, some teriyaki trout, mushrooms on toast (with the biggest mushrooms I’ve ever seen and a “bread butter cinnamon bun). All delicious. I think a well known coffee roaster has a roasters in the basement. Place very nice - modern and industrial feel. Enormously high ceilings and windows.

We had a really pleasant brunch at Argyle Place this week. I asked for a relatively quiet area and table for our daughter with learning disabilities and autism. And they had the perfect table for us, which was set away from the main dining area but very close to the team for assistance. They also had a lovely big accessible toilet with a red cord, and the entire venue was on the ground floor, so all of the spaces were very accessible. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our children's needs, even though they didn't have a children's menu. They made up our daughter's favorite brunch. Apart from all that, the menu was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this to anyone who would like a brunch spot in the Marchmont Meadows area.
