Bowring Hepple Black is an independent, family-run gift shop in the heart of Alnwick, specialising in officially licensed Harry Potter merchandise. We are open every day from 10am, and are just two minutes from Northumberland's very own 'Hogwarts', Alnwick Castle.

Disabled Access at Bowring Hepple Black

Bowring Hepple Black is accessible for all wheelchair users, with level access on entry to the shop as well as throughout. The shop is situated on Alnwick's Narrowgate, which has recently been levelled and pedestrianised, creating ample room for wheelchairs both in and outside Bowring Hepple Black. There is disabled parking just up the road.

Since opening, we have tried to make Bowring Hepple Black accessible to everyone and are delighted to offer, by request, quiet shopping sessions outside our usual opening hours. These quiet shopping hours are intended to provide families and fans, who need a bit more time and space, to explore at their own pace. All assistance dogs, and well-behaved pets, are welcome at Bowring Hepple Black. A water bowl is provide at the entrance of the shop.
