Overview

Within 10 min slow walk to buses and to Russell Sq tube station.

Transport & Parking

Disabled parking spaces near to main door of hotel. However, we travelled by train into Kings Cross and, not being sure of buses/routes, decided to take taxi. 10 mins, cost aprox £11. After studying buses, we then used them for rest of our stay. Bus stop is only 10 min walk, using walking cane and I can't walk fast or for far. Route is level. Buses every few mins into central London in only 15 mins, but cannot comment if suitable for wheelchair, not having to use one. Buses do all seem to have spaces for wheelchairs though. Also able to get bus back to Kings Cross at end of our stay, £1.75 each, at time of writing.

Access

Hotel entrance is on the level and inside there are lifts to all floors.

Toilets

Didnt use public toilet in hotel but had booked accessable room. Bathroom was huge with bath/shower over bath and ample grab rails. There was a hoist located in an area outside the accessable rooms for taking into room to use if required. With grab rails I was able to have shower in bath as bath sides were not too high.

Staff

Very friendly and on arrival, checked with me that if, in emergency, I might need assistance to evacuate.
