The Pitlochry Festival Theater is a wonderful place to visit in Pitlochry, especially if you love the arts, music and performances. It has three different performance spaces. The main auditorium is a large space with four designated seating areas for wheelchair users, with space for a companion to sit next to them. Several seats can be accessed by a handrail, but you will still need to go up or down at least one step. A loop system is also available. You can also bring your assistance dog into the theatre with you. The studio has two designated seating areas for wheelchair users, with space for a companion to sit next to them, and a loop system is also available. This room offers a unique experience, as it is a more intimate and interactive space. The third space is an outdoor amphitheatre, which is mainly used for performances in the summer months. It is also wheelchair accessible, but please note that it is located in the Explorer Gardens, so it does require a bit of a walk to get there. The route is accessible, but it goes uphill. Visiting the theatre was a wonderful experience. It is a bright, newly refurbished open space with several areas to relax in, including a beautiful café overlooking the river and a soft play area. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A variety of wonderful shows are offered throughout the year, suitable for different ages. We would highly recommend a visit!
