    OK but could be better

As a serverly sight impaired (registered blind) person I find the accessibility options for people such as my self woefully inadequate, the writing on exhibits isn't large enough And still aftet all these years there are exhibits over 20ft or 6.1m on a wall whete even fully sighted people struggle , This is a case of form over function Not fit for purpose I also recently observed people having difficulty wuth the hearing loop not functioning as it should Yes it does have wheelchair access and accessible loos , but hardly a consolation providing these at the exclusion of other disabled users The only saving grace are the staff who are usually helpfull and well mannered The cafe if a tad pricy does sell a selection on very good hot drinks ks and good cakes! (Huge plus)

Accesible toilets a disgrace and tainted the visit.

I have visited many times before, however, poor access to the toilets made me look through fresh eyes and closer at other aspects of the museum. Its not a great layout for someone with limited mobility. Everything seems to be packed in minimising the free space available. They do have some great cars, trams, trains etc to look at but seems like little thought has went into the layout. It is very disappointing when you realise that a modern city museum is actually poor for disabled people.
