Excellent
Went to see a concert (Tubullar Bells). Booking tickets very easy if you are an accessible member of ATG Tickets (using the Hynt card made this signup easy). Free ticket for companion if you qualify I.e wheelchair user or need assistance for other reasons. Access to venue is very good and all staff very helpful and willing to assist if you need. Easy access to disabled toilets and there a quite a few available on all levels. View from wheelchair location seating was very good.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Access was easy with a dedicated entry door for wheelchair and disabled users. Also some events offer help with BSL and also appear to offer events for people who require “quieter performances”. Upon leaving the arena staff were willing to open some fire exits for wheelchair users to help avoid the larger crowds at main exits.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Car park next to venue charged £2 for 4 hours parking and has lots of disabled parking spaces on various floors. Also there is access to the bridge across the main road to the venues main entry on the upper level.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
Plenty of easily available disabled toilets and most appear to have changing facilities as well. Toilets were clean and well maintained and had enough rails and space to manoeuvre around. The ones I used also had cords to the floor as they should be.
Staff
Excellent
Staff very helpful polite and courteous and willing to give assistance if needed. Did not impose themselves on you but were there if you needed them.
