The Estuary Riverside Chalets

We have two accessible for all holiday properties in Hambleton, Lancashire. We are located just outside the village, set in a ten acre field with amazing river views. The properties were built in 2021 and we opened in December 2021. We have lots of excellent reviews and our accommodation is modern and spacious. There is plenty of parking on a tarmac drive which leads to the ramp access and wide doors. Inside you will find an open plan lounge dining/kitchen with a Himolla rise and recline chair. The first twin bedroom has a profiling bed and leads to the ensuite wet room. The wet room has a reduced height basin with integrated grab rails, shower grab/soap rail and a toilet frame is available for anyone looking to self transfer or if you just need a little bit more support. We also have various shower chairs available as well as mobile hoists. There is a second twin bedroom, separate smaller wet room and a superking bedroom with river views. The master bedroom and lounge/diningroom all have access to the spacious decking area. The mobility equipment is included in the price with only a second profiling bed incurring a fee. Our accommodation is suitable for wheelchair users and offers multi-generational holidays as we cater for all ages. Our accommodation is flexible and we are able to add as little or as much equipment as required. Over the last year we have added 3 profiling beds, 2 rise and recline chairs, 2 mobile hoists, shower commode chair, tilt in space shower chair, grab lever for profiling bed, table for profiling bed, suction grab rails, elephants feet, harness or seatbelt for shower chair. The accommodation is modern with a luxury feel not always associated with accessibility. We are pet friendly and we are only a few minutes drive from Brickhouse Cottages where you can use their hydrotherapy room, sensory room and Bistro.
