Overview
Literally just off the A1, this Pub/Hotel is very new and welcoming. Apart from quite a long walk from the very large car park to the entrance, which can be quite cold and wet in those parts, this is a very pleasant hotel which is also a very popular Pub / Restaurant with the locals. Good sized accessible rooms with large bath room with walk / roll in shower. Good quality, excellent value food and nice bar with good selection of wines and beers. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is also 'pet friendly'.
Transport & Parking
There are more parking spaces here than they could ever use and quite a few are marked disabled, though perhaps a little subtly. A lot were used by non-blue badge vehicles but there are so many it really isn't an issue.
Access
Good sized, easy to open doors with security doors (into the bedroom section from the bar and bedroom doors themselves) accessible with contactless cards. Plenty of room between tables which are of a good height for wheelchairs.
Toilets
Very new and built to the latest standards. Could find no fault.
Staff
Predominantly young local staff, friendly easy manner and very helpful. Good local knowledge.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Most enjoyable, with evening meal included in package price with no exclusions on the menu.
