Edinburgh Art Festival 26
EAF (Edinburgh Art Festival) is the UK’s largest annual festival of visual art. Founded in 2004, it provides a dedicated platform for the visual arts at the heart of Edinburgh’s summer festivals.
EAF cultivates connections between communities, artists, and collaborators to develop contemporary visual art projects. Every August, the festival presents a major showcase rooted in Edinburgh and Scotland while engaging in global dialogue. Its Civic programme operates throughout the year, building ongoing relationships with local artists, initiatives, and communities.
EAF amplifies intersectional voices and perspectives. Its work is rooted in social justice, championing emerging and early-career artists whose projects address colonial histories, queerness, feminism, and the climate crisis.
The Edinburgh Art Festival 2026 runs from Friday, August 14th to Sunday, August 30th
