Overall Rating

Excellent

The theatre was easy to enter using a long shallow ramp to the stage. Seats could be removed to increase space for wheelchairs. Had a great uninterupted view of the stage from the front row. Plenty of food and drink venues outside with staff helpful if you couldn't reach ordering counters. Ground covered in astro turf so not affected by numbers or poor weather. After a member of staff lead me to my seat they were willing to take my scooter out to a powersocket so it could be charged up during the performance. It was then returned as soon as the show ended. Amazing customer service.

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

Once in the square there was then a gradual slope down past food and drink stalls to the theatre. The theatre had steps or a ramp to access. Staff ensured you got in first so you had time to manoveur wheelchairs/scooers and transfer if required before everyone else came in.

Parking & Transport

Good

Getting within 100 metres was easy as there are pavements that far. Once at George Square there were only cobbles to be crossed to access the central square. Uncomfrotable at any speed. Due to road closures there would be no way this could be avoided, but plenty of busses and taxis could get within 100 metres. It's a shame the astroturf couldn't extend in a path over the cobbles - something for next year?

Accessible Toilets

Average

There was a disbled toilet but it was quite filthy and the sistern was broken so it wouldn't flush properly. Ther was no hand towel. I untied the red cord and added a red cord card.

Staff

Excellent

Went beyond the call of duty to ensure my scooter was charged during the performance - so helpful and gave me peace of mmid that I'd make it home.

A great show that i'd recomend in an ideal venue.
