This property is now closed. This wonderful property occupies a delightful location in the extensive grounds of Yafford Mill, an 18th century restored mill, set amidst the beautiful countryside of the coastal area of South West Wight. This is ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. The quiet and unspoilt beaches of Brighstone and Brook are within a 5 minute drive. Yafford Mill Barn has been awarded 'Access Exceptional' award from Visit Britain and has been designed with the needs of wheelchair users and those with impaired mobility.

Holiday home from home

A highly accessible holiday home for a wheelchair user. Generally, a well thought out space with wet room, purpose built hob and sink. Wonderful for a peaceful holiday.

Very disappointed

I tried to book the property for the young man that I work for - I manage his small care team and we were hoping he could holiday here with a couple of carers and his mum. I sent a booking request (for March 2016) through islandcottageholidays.com and thought everything was fine but I received an email to say "I am very sorry but we are not able to go ahead with this booking. The new owner of the property has changed their terms and conditions as they now only want family group bookings, due to a very bad experience with a previous non family group." I asked the website I had booked through to clarify that they would not let the young man, his mother and two carers stay and I did not get a response. VERY poor communication and SO disappointing!
