Venue Description

Underbelly George Square is home to two performance spaces - the iconic upside down purple cow, the Udderbelly, and her little sister, the Wee Coo. 3rd - 29th August 2022

Accessibility

There is ramped access throughout the site and into the Udderbelly and Wee Coo performance venues. The Udderbelly has raked seating with the front 2 rows at floor level. The seating in the Wee Coo is all on one level. In both venues, seating can be removed to accommodate manual and powered wheelchairs. Please enquire with the box office if you have any questions about different sections of seating. The box office counter has a dropped window to facilitate access. The main bar also has a low-level section of the counter. The food concessions do not have a low-level counter section; however staff are more than happy to come out from behind the counter to take your order. There is a range of toilet facilities including all-gender toilets, an accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities. Service dogs are welcomed everywhere and water bowls can be provided if required. A large print version of menus for all bars and food concessions are available.

Toilets

There is an accessible toilet located within the main toilet area of the site. The toilet unit is accessed by a shallow ramp. The door opens outwards and is wide enough for both manual and powered wheelchairs. Inside, there are are fixed handrails and drop-down rails to assist with self-transfer between a wheelchair and the toilet. All handrails are colour-contrasting. There is a low level sink with sensor taps installed.

Staff

Friendly front of house, bar and box office staff are on hand to answer any queries.
